M 52, NGC 7635 (Bubble Nebula)

| The open cluster cluster left of the center is M 52 in the constellation of Cassiopeia. 36' toward the SW is the emission nebula NGC 7635, also known as the "Bubble Nebula" because of a faint arc of gas barely visible at this image scale. Also visible is a satellite trail passing right through the nebula. The bright red nebula on the far right is NGC 7538. |
